The Ex- Minister of External Affairs of India, Sushma Swaraj is well known for her witty replies on Twitter. Recently, she took to her official Twitter account to share her condolences on the death of Shri Mange Ram, a former Bharatiya Janata Party Delhi President, and MLA. He passed away in the morning of 21st July.
Swaraj wrote about how great a man Mange Ram was and that the minister has donated his organs as she gave her tribute to him.
Though the condolence tweet was heartfelt, it didn’t go down well with a Twitter user Irfan Khan, who wrote a rather nasty reply on her tweet. He wrote: “Aap ki bhi boht yaad ayegi ek din #SheilaDixit Ji ki tarah AmmA :(“
Sushma Swaraj replied to this nasty tweet by writing: “Is bhawana ke liye apko mera agrim dhanyawad. I thank you in anticipation for this kind thought.”
It was indeed a savage reply by the BJP’s senior leader. However, insensitive comment by Irfan did not go down so well with the Twitterati on the politician’s tweet and he got trolled for it harshly.
