Kia Motors India will unveil its new concept compact SUV at the upcoming Auto Expo 2020. The carmaker has created quite a stir with its maiden offering, Kia Seltos. The soon-to-be-launched Kia Carnival has been generating an impressive response as well. The compact SUV, which will be the third product of the automobile company in the country, will rival against the likes of Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Ford EcoSport.
From the teaser images released by Kia Motors India, one can easily make out that the compact SUV will get a very bold look. There is the signature tiger-nose grille up front flanked by projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs. The front bumper looks particularly brawny. The rear looks sporty too. The tail lamps will be LED units with a light strip running through them. The rear bumper appears muscular as well.
According to Kia Motors India, the concept will be a testimony of its focus on consumer-insight driven product innovation and orientation with its modern, dynamic and bold design. “This bold concept along with its head-turning looks, dimensions, and features will embody Kia’s Power to Surprise slogan in India,” the carmaker said.
We can expect the upcoming compact SUV to be feature-loaded like Kia Seltos. The cabin might get multifunction steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system, auto AC and push-button start/stop, among others. There might be the UVO connectivity technology in the compact SUV.
