However, it stopped short of revealing the Indian pricing of the phones, or when the two will eventually make way to the country.
Now, a fresh leak has shed some light on this matter. As per reliable tipster, Ishan Agarwal, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite and the Galaxy S10 Lite will be launched in India on January 25, 2020, with the two also going on sale in India from February.
He further goes on to reveal that of the two, the Note 10 Lite will be available through both online and offline stores, while, the Galaxy S10 Lite will most likely be an online exclusive device. There is still no concrete word on the pricing of the devices, but the expectation is they will be priced around the Rs 50,000 mark.
Galaxy Note 10 Lite, Galaxy S10 Lite: Specifications
Despite being lite variants of two entirely different flagships, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite and S10 Lite do share a lot of specs. The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note10 Lite bring with them edge-to-edge 6.7-inch Infinity-O displays capable of Full HD+ resolutions and a pixel density of 394 ppi.
Under the hood, the Galaxy S10 Lite comes with a Snapdragon 855 processor, while the Galaxy Note 10 Lite offers Samsung’s in-house Exynos 8895 chipset. These have been paired with 6/8GB+128GB RAM and storage configurations.
Keeping the lights on the Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note10 Lite are massive 4,500mAh batteries that support super-fast charging.
But that’s where the similarities end. The two in fact get differing camera setups. The S10 Lite brings a 5-megapixel f/2.4 macro lens; a 48-megapixel F2.0 wide-angle lens featuring Super Steady OIS, and a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide featuring a 123-degree angle lens.
The Note Lite, on the other hand, gets a 12-megapixel f/2.2 ultra-wide lens; a 12-megapixel f/1.7 wide-angle lens with dual-pixel technology and OIS; and a 12-megapixel f/2.4 telephoto lens (also with OIS).
Apart from this, the major differentiating factor between the two is the presence of the S Pen on the Galaxy Note 10 Lite.
