Jio has changed the streaming perks of several of its plans soon after the latest rate rises that took effect on December 1.
Customers who purchase a Jio prepaid plan for Rs 601, Rs 799, Rs 1066, or Rs 3119 will get a one-year Disney-Hotstar mobile subscription, as well as Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio Security, and Jio Cloud.
The Rs 601 plan has a daily data restriction of 3GB (total of 90GB), beyond which the speed drops to 64 Kbps. In addition, the subscriber is entitled to unlimited phone calls and 100 SMS each day. However, the validity is just for 28 days.
Those who want a longer validity period may opt for the Rs 799 plan, which has a 56-day validity period. The plan has a total data capacity of 112 GB, including 2 GB per day, unlimited phone calls, and 100 SMS per day.
Under Jio Prepaid Plans, there are two additional options: Rs 1066 with 84-day validity and Rs 3119 with a one-year validity. Jio’s Rs 1066 plan includes 2GB of data per day plus an extra 5GB (for a total data cap of 173GB), as well as unlimited phone calls and 100 SMS. Jio’s Rs 3119 plan includes 740GB of data (2GB per day Plus an extra 10GB), as well as daily unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS.
With no phone or SMS features, the Jio Cricket Pack costs Rs 659.
