Compared to 2021, the power of Indian passport has increased in this quarter. This means that Indians can travel visa-free to more countries.
In Henley Passport Index, India ranks at 83rd position. Last year it was at 90th position.
Indians can now travel to 60 countries Visa free including Oman and Armenia which are newest addition to the list.
According to Henley Passport Index the average number of countries that an individual can travel visa free is 107. The citizens of USA and Sweden can travel more than 180 countries without any visa. The citizens of Laos and Cameroon can travel to nearly 50 countries without any visa.
India at 83 rank is still behind countries like Uganda and Rwanda.
