Realme launched the Realme 5s in India last week and the budget smartphone went on its first sale in the country on November 29, 2019. After a successful first innings, the newly launched smartphone will go on sale in India again at 12PM on December 2, 2019 via Flipkart and Realme’s online shop. Interested buyers can head to Flipkart and Realme.com to register for the upcoming sale before hand.
If you are planning to buy the Realme 5s smartphone, both Flipkart and Realme’s online shop, are offering interesting deals for the buyers. On Flipkart, interested buyers can get 10 per cent cashback on using their HDFC bank debit card, five per cent cashback on using Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, five per cent cashback on purchasing the phone on EMI using SBI Credit Cards, or five per cent off on using Axis Bank Buzz Credit Card.
On Realme.com, Jio users will get instant benefits worth Rs 7,000, 10 per cent cash back on using their HDFC Bank Debit Cards, Rs 500 off on exchanging their old phones for new Realme 5s smartphones and 10 per cent SuperCash worth Rs 1,000 and cashback ranging between Rs 50 and Rs 500 on using MobiKwik mobile wallets.
The phone is available in two memory variants – one with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage space that costs Rs 9,999 and the other with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal memory that costs Rs 10,999 – in Crystal Blue, Crystal Purple and Crystal Red colour variants.
As far as other specifications are concerned, the Realme 5s comes with a 6.5-inch LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and it runs on ColorOS6 realme edition that is based on Android 9.0 Pie. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery and it ships with a 10W power charger.
As far as the camera goes, the Realme 5s sports a quad rear camera setup consisting of a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP portrait lens and a 2MP macro lens. On the front, the phone has a 13MP lens.
