According to a recent news report, TCS plans to hire 40,000 freshers in India. Amid the slowdown, this is positive news for freshers. TCS is one of the largest IT companies in India and the 2nd largest employer in the private sector after Quess Corp.

Another major IT company in the country – HCL – also plans to hire 15,000 from campuses. HCL has a 5-step recruitment process that starts with candidates applying for a job, shortlisting of application, technical interview, HR interview and offer rollout.
