How to Use Aadhaar to Lock and Unlock It
You can now lock and unlock your Aadhaar card with a single SMS. If you do this, nobody can utilize your Aadhaar. You can lock it whenever you want and unlock it whenever you’re ready to use it. To lock your Aadhaar, you’ll need a VID.
This Is How You Lock Aadhaar by SMS.
- In the first SMS, choose TEXT and enter ‘GETOTP‘ (SPACE) followed by the last four digits of your Aadhaar number.
- Immediately upon receipt of the OTP, the second SMS should be issued. In this LOCKUID, enter the last four digits of your six-digit Aadhaar (SPACE) OTP (SPACE).
